coordinate clause
(grammar) one of two or more clauses in a sentence that are equal in importance, have similar patterns and are often joined by and, or, but, etc 并列分句（一個(gè)句子中所含有的至少兩個(gè)地位相等、 結(jié)構(gòu)相似的分句之一, 常以and、 or、 but等詞相連接）. Cf 參看 subordinate clause (subordinate).
